We've had a busy couple of days travelling around the province. On Wednesday, we went to Saint John. We had planned to be on the road by 9, but Shawna said that they might be awake earlier so if they are up by 7:30 as she thought, we might want to get going earlier.
I had to wake them up at 10am.
So yeah, we were on the road by about noon. We first went to the beach and the tide was roaring in. Poor Alyia got knocked over and just soaked. Being the idiots that we are, we had no towel, no change of clothes for her. So we went to Zellers and bought some. After lunch at McDonald's, we went to the Old City Market, where Shawna bought the most adorable Paddington Bear winter jacket for Alyia.
Yesterday, we went to the Hopewell Rocks, Cape Enrage and the Fundy National Park. It was a long day, and I'm amazed at how good Alyia has been.
Today, we're just hanging out around town - doing some shopping and getting ready for our big PEI adventure over the weekend.
