Sep. 25th, 2001 11:22 pmUnfortunately. Shawna and Alyia left this morning. I woke them up at 4am, and we left for the airport at 5am. Luckily i was able to come home and sleep til 11:30 before I had to goto work.
We had a fantastic time. Just like when we were kids, only this time we talked about our kids, husbands, and jobs instead of classmates and schoolwork.
We spent one night on PEI at a B&B. We saw the Anne of Green Gables house and LM Montgomery's home in Cavendish. We spent time on Cavendish beach, watching Alyia try to escape the incoming tide.
Basically, we had a wonderful, but all-too-short time together. Shawna is already planning a trip out here in May, this time with her husband for a 2nd honeymoon.
In other news, there is no other news. I went back to work today and luckily had no major issues. I've decided there will always be minor issues when you deal with the public.
