So, we're going to Saint John tomorrow. Steve is going to work. Lauren and I are doing an Out Of Town Mall Day. I'm SO BORED with everything at home right now, that even a wee day trip to Saint John is exciting for me.

I'm going shopping for jeans and pants. I have one pair of pants I wear to work. It's not enough, especially since I'm going to work one more shift per week. And also, my jeans have holes in them. I swore I wasn't going to buy more jeans til they could be smaller, but a girl needs jeans without holes. I'm going to try Old Navy. we don't have Old Navy in Fredericton, and I wasn't feeling up to trying on jeans when we were in Winnipeg for Christmas.

Speaking of work, and I sort of was, I found out today that since the SDM in Oromocto is getting a new store, we get new hours to go with it. Currently we're open typical mall hours - 9-9 M-F, 9-6 Saturday, and 12-5 Sunday. Today, when I got to work, Brad, another pharmacist just wrote this on a prescription pad:

8-12. 7 days a week.

I just laughed and laughed and laughed. I mean good lord, Oromocto has 10,000 people. Do we really need a midnight pharmacy?? I laugh also because I only work 5-9 on Mondays right now. yes, beginning in June that will mean 5-midnight, but STILL. I also work at a store in Fredericton that is 9-10 M-F, 9-6 Sat, and 12-6 Sun. I'm sure it would be NO PROBLEM for me to totally give up Oromocto and pick up hours in Fredericton if I hate the midnights so much.

And when I worked in Regina, i DID hate the midnights. of course I was working 4 a week and I will NOT do that again.

Anyway. I'm rambling. I must go to sleep so I can be awake for our big Trip to Saint John tomorrow.

I always have luck with jeans at Old Navy. Not so much with pants because they're not long enough, but I assume that won't be an issue for you. ;) I understand the need to get out and go somewhere different; it happens to me all of the time. I hope you have a good day in Saint John! And ugh, midnights...

no luck with jeans. if they fit around my hips, they gaped incredibly around the waist. if they fit around the waist... well, who knows cause they wouldn't go over my hips. :P

i did get 2 pairs of dress pants, 2 tshirts and 2 sweaters though. all for just over $100, so i'm all impressed with myself.

and i got the blah walmart jeans again. same as i'm wearing now, but, ya know, without the holes. :P

Ugh, that sucks. It's really difficult finding jeans that fit and aren't too expensive sometimes. But it does sound like you did well anyway. I can't stand Wal-Mart jeans...they just don't fit me right. But at least you have hole-free jeans now!
