I just threw the little munchkin in her crib. she's trying not to be tired, but the fact that she's not screaming makes me think she doesn't mind being in there.

So, she's two now. And I've been thinking how so much of her routine is going to change in the next 6-12 months.

She's going to get potty trained in the next year. We can't do it now due to her horrible constipation/scared to poop issues. But we will get there.

She's going to move out of her crib sometime soon. Although everytime I go check on her and she's jammed right up against the side of the crib, I wonder if she'll ever learn to sleep in a bed.

She's going to give up her bottle pretty soon. Right now, she only gets a bottle of milk in the morning and before bed. She doesn't drink it at all during the day. Not that we don't offer it to her, she just won't drink it. I think cutting out the morning bottle will be easier, so that's the route we're going to go. Just give her less and less in the bottle and add in some sort of breakfast food. She loves oatmeal and she'll eat Cinnamon Swirl Life cereal too. This is my plan for next week - give her less milk in a bottle, and more in a sippy cup.

In other news... the child is so sweet. we watch entirely too much Elmo. She likes Elmo's Song, but with the lyrics changed from "That's Elmo's Song!!!" at the end to "She's Mommy's girl!!!!" She sings it to me all the time and I love it.

Gah. She's in there spitting right now. Do i ignore her in hopes of her giving it up and going to sleep or do I go in and tell her that it's yucky? We'll try ignoring for now.
